Short description

Culliper is a Mac app that culls a photo shoot on your Mac. It stacks bursts and similar shots, suggests stars for the best frame in each, and files your picks into plain folders you can revert in one step. No account, no upload and no subscription: a free 14-day trial, then a one-time purchase.

Long description

Culliper helps photographers get from a full shoot to their keepers in one sitting. Open a folder of RAW, JPEG or HEIF photographs and Culliper groups bursts, similar shots and exact copies, then suggests stars for the strongest frame in each group using Apple’s Vision framework and two analysis models that run on the Mac. Every photo lists the reasons: sharpness, clipping, horizon tilt, face quality, ISO and overall quality.

Photo Profiles set how strict the suggestions are, from forgiving Everyday to strict Portfolio, and Memories gives every place in a trip its own best shots. When the review is done, Culliper previews every move, files picks into plain folders that any editor opens, and can revert everything in one step.

Culliper has no network permission, so photographs never leave the Mac. It is a free download with a 14-day trial and a one-time US$39.99 unlock.

Quote

“I wanted something that finds the best frame of every burst without uploading my photos or charging me every month. Culliper does that on the Mac, and it never moves a file until I say so.”
